Art Therapy & Counselling
Therapeutic Arts Counselling is an allied health profession that is delivered by a professionally trained arts therapists and counsellor who has studied a master’s degree, and is accredited with ANZACATA, the professional peak body in Australia, and ACA for Counselling. It is a powerful therapeutic approach that helps people explore emotions, process experiences, and foster connection through creativity and without words. Outreach
Therapy Outreach is a compassionate approach to mental health care that aims to bring support directly to those who might not have easy access to clinical settings. It involves taking mental health services beyond the confines of clinics and into schools, communities, and out in nature.
The goals and benefits of outreach therapy programs are diverse. They aim to benefit all ages and abilities and reduce the risk of stress and anxiety.
Michelle visits schools on the Mornington Peninsula, during school times and is available after school in the home or at her rooms for young people and families. Michelle is also available for adults during the day, out in nature on the Mornington Peninsula, in home or at her rooms to explore and create with different art modalities. Michelle is also available for small gatherings for creative explorations in schools, aged care, and home school families.

Small Groups and Workshops
Small groups are welcomed using the creative arts modalities and nature. These groups can be themed or just come along to experience engaging with art materials and what art therapy is about to help regulate and help with emotions, mental health, or just to simply take some time away from your busy day, for self-care.
Therapeutic Arts can enhance everyday living skills and independence, help achieve short term and long-term goals, regulate the nervous system and emotions, improve and develop communication skills, and promote positive mental health for all ages and abilities.
